WHO DIED ON THE
25TH OF JUNE 1804
IN THE 25TH YEAR OF HIS AGE,
AND TO WHOSE MEMORY
HIS AFFECTIONATE UNCLE,
JAMES WALKER ESQ'RE
CAUSED A MONUMENT TO BE ERECTED.

BY WHOSE DEATH
ON THE 13TH OF JULY 1829
______ WAS SUDDENLY
DEPRIVED OF ONE OF ITS MOST
DESERVEDLY ESTEEMED CITIZENS;
ONE DISTINGUISHED, BOTH IN HIS
PUBLIC AND PRIVATE LIFE,
BY A STEADY COURSE OF INTEGRITY,
CHARITY, AND BENEVOLENCE,
AND WHOSE MEMORY WILL BE LONG
CHERISHED AND RESPECTED BY
THE MANY WHO WERE ACQUAINTED
WITH HIS WORTH.
